WHAT IS UK COFFEE WEEK?

WHAT IS UK COFFEE WEEK?

UK Coffee Week is a week-long fundraising campaign that sees everyone in coffee disregard competition and come together to celebrate the drink we love while raising funds for the communities at its source.

Every penny raised during the week goes straight to our charity Project Waterfall – the charity of choice for the coffee industry, working to end the water crisis in our lifetime.

THIS YEAR

Now in our tenth year, this year’s edition (19 - 25 October) is our most important to date. Why?

…coffee-growing communities have been hit hard by COVID-19, with clean water and sanitation more vital than ever.

WHAT IS PROJECT WATERFALL

Our charity Project Waterfall works to bring clean water, sanitation and education to coffee-growing communities across the world.

785 million people around the world don’t have access to clean water. The majority live in isolated, rural areas – the same areas growing our coffee.

100% of funds raised during this year's UK Coffee Week will support Project Waterfall’s ongoing work in the rural Jabi Tehnan district of Ethiopia. This project, which began in 2018 in partnership with WaterAid, will change the lives of over 10,000 people.

THE ROAD TO £1MILLION…

Since 2011 UK Coffee Week has raised over £750,000 for Project Waterfall, helped fund 6 new initiatives in countries such as Ethiopia, Kenya, and Tanzania, and changed 30,000 lives.

UK Coffee Week, 100% of the funds raised go to Project Waterfall’s ongoing work in the rural Jabi Tehnan district of Ethiopia.

We as part of this great movement will donate 10% of our sales and also we will have a raffle box with our best selling product and much more soon available on our web site.

Thanks to the incredible support all so far in this UK Coffee Week!
